Soutache and Embroidery Bracelet Pink Roses, with Rose Quartz and Polymer Clay Components

Entirely hand embroidered with embroidery beads technique.
Single piece, elliptical shape. On a special support are embroidered beads, toho and miyuki brand, in different shapes and colors, small leaves in boreal white glass, white glass flowers, crystals.
In the processing are inserted small clusters of roses in polymer clay, a central cabochon made by me in polymer clay with an opal effect, and a rose quartz cabochon.
The main feature of this bracelet is the use of shibori silk, a particular pleated and hand-dyed Japanese silk, with different colors that blend into each other, in this case it is in shades of pink.
The back of the bracelet is in light beige suede. The closure is made with two small mother-of-pearl buttons and beaded buttonholes.
The bracelet is not washable, therefore special attention to use is recommended as it is a fabric jewel.
The total length is about 20 cm, the width is about 5 cm, the thickness is about 0.8 cm.

The Soutache is a manual embroidery technique born in Eastern Europe that takes its name from a viscose ribbon (sujtas) originally used to sew the frogs of the military jackets. This ribbon or braid sewn together with stones, pearls and crystals allows you to create fantastic jewels, clasps, accessories and decorations for dresses.

The soutache technique has very ancient origins and takes us back to Eastern Europe, to Russia and Poland, at the time when the clothes of the Tsars were decorated. this technique first spread in France in 1900, then later also in Italy and was used to decorate the costumes of the film "Il gattopardo" by Luchino Visconti

The braid is joined by points with needle and thread made in such a way as to create a harmonious jewel in its form and where the points are not clearly visible.

All the bracelets are made with high quality soutache braids and the metal components are nickel free.
