The decorative motif that distinguishes this coordinate is the butterfly: the butterfly is a symbolic animal par excellence, it has always been so since the most remote times. The wonder for this phenomenon that originates and develops without external interventions, leading the animal from the condition of caterpillar to that of larva and finally butterfly, deeply affects men, who are thus driven to reflect on their spiritual transformation. The metamorphosis of the butterfly is fundamental to understand its symbolism: it is basically a sign of transformation and rebirth. It represents the soul that, exiting the body, reaches a higher degree of perfection.

The polymer clay cabochons represent butterfly wings and are entirely handmade by me with the murrine technique.
They are hand-embroidered with rocailles beads and rhinestone chain, with jeweled components in silver metal. In fact, the studs of the earrings are finely worked with floral motifs.
