Pendants made entirely by hand with the Wire Wrapping / Wire Netting technique, and with resin Cabochon (for the Batik ones).
Bronze-colored aluminum wires were used for the circular base and bronze and gold-colored copper wires for the internal weave.
The hook is decorated with dagger beads and other glass beads. As pendants I used crystals of different shapes and sizes, pearls in turquoise paste, hematite and green agate.
For the Cheyenne and Lakota it was a sacred object: a legend Cheyenne tells that a woman built for her child a magic net capable of trapping dreams and recognizing the good ones from the bad ones. - the outer circle represents the cycle of life and the universe;
the network with the beads retains the negative dreams which vanish with the first light of the morning, leaving positive dreams free to flow.
Green Agate Dreamcatcher
The central pearl is indeed a green agate, the necklace is a double string in gold-colored silk, with terminals and snap-hook in bronze-free bronze color, it is 52 cm long.
The circle has a diameter of 5 cm and the pendant including the pendants is 10 cm long.
Red Agate Dreamcatcher
The central pearl is indeed a red agate, the necklace is a nickel free bronze colored chain, it is 60 cm long.
The circle has a diameter of 5 cm and the pendant including the pendants is 9 cm long.
Handpainted Resin componente embedded with Wire netting technique, with a complete reticular decorations on the back side.
They are unique and non-reproducible pieces.
The pendants measures approximately 48 mm in diameter and them are very light.
Stainless steel chain, with a simple lobster clasp closure, nickel free, 50 cm.
