Pink and Violet Tones Embroidery and Soutache Pendants | Drago, Farfalla

I used the Embroidery Beads technique, it is a very ancient technique dating back to the twelfth century. It consists in creating compositions, designs or decorations by embroidering different elements together, such as cabochons in stone or other materials, pearls and beads on a textile support. In the past it was frequently used to embellish sacred clothes or vestments, in many countries wearing such richly decorated clothes was a symbol of high social status. This technique is now an integral part of textile fashion and adapts to the most varied styles and many different inspirations.

Pink Dragon Pendant
Entirely hand-embroidered with soutache technique.
One-of-a-kind piece in white, silver, gray and pink tones: crystals, rocailles beads and top quality soutache plates have been used.
In the center there is a drop-shaped hand-shaped polymer clay cabochon depicting a pink dragon, hand-painted with acrylic colors and protected by a thin layer of very shiny resin.
It is supported by an antiqued silver metal hook and an aluminum chain.
The heart-shaped silver metal closure is nickel free.
The total length is approximately 43 cm, of which 12.5 cm is the pendant, the width of which is approximately 6 cm.

Pink Butterfly Pendant
Pendant made with Embroidery Beads technique, very delicate, in shades of pink and golden ocher. Single piece.
The polymer clay cabochons represent butterfly wings and are entirely handmade by me with the murrine technique.
They are hand-embroidered with rocailles beads and rhinestone chain, with a silver metal hook.
Total length of the necklace 34 cm, pendant size 7.5 x 6 cm.

Purple Rhombus pendant
A small jewel but with a very articulated decoration, made with the soutache technique, high quality purple and violet laminated braids, crystal, miyuki Andrea Togo beads and Cabochon in polymer clay and resin handcrafted by me. On the back a lucky amethyst bead connected to the lobster clasp.
