Wire Wrapping Oval Resin Pendants

The technique with which the resin pendants were obtained is called resin casting and it is precisely the art of including small objects in the resin. The resin is poured into a cast, so the shape will be similar to that of other pendants, but the content is different each time, and this makes it a unique piece that is not reproducible.

These are not common plastic pieces printed with a machine, but each piece, once pulled out of the mold, is finished by hand so that it may have small irregularities and imperfections, typical of manual processing.

Silver-plated copper wires with anti-oxidation treatment have been used to embed these resin components.


Holographic Oval Pendant
The cabochon is made of transparent resin and contains particulate holographic flakes which give it a luminous and opalescent appearance, black background (it is not a natural stone).

Oval Lapislazuli pendant
The cabochon is made of blue resin with copper leaf which makes it similar to a lapis lazuli stone (it is not a natural stone).
